  • Moritz Lucht

    ARTISTIC DIRECTOR, PERFORMER

    At 23, Moritz Lucht began a two-year basic circus training at the Escuela de Circ - Rogelio Rivel in Barcelona and completed his training at Etage in Berlin in 2018. Here he found his artistic objective: combining the dance dramaturgy and abstraction ability of Contemporary Circus with the narrative elements of New Circus. He has already been able to show his pieces at various circus and theater festivals such as OFF Sytuacje, Poznan, Arial Arts Festival Berlin, PAF Berlin and the International Pantomime Festival Dresden.

    Since 2022 Moritz dances for Constanza Macras - Dorkypark in “Drama” at the Volksbühne Berlin. and as substitute for “Stages Of Crisis” .

  • Joanna Bassi

    DIRECTOR

    Raised in a traditional circus family, Johanna Bassi has been touring Europe and beyond since 1960. She is a clown, author and plays the violin. Her engagement at the Theatre du Rond Point (1986) in Jean Louis Barrault's troupe awakened her love for directing. Since then, she has directed productions such as Brigade Douanière in the context of Luxembourg, Capital of Culture or the Cirque Du Soleil Performance and Artistic Innovative Vision award-winning production "RoboPole".

  • Alba de Miguel Fuertes

    CHOREOGRAPHER, PERFORMER

    She first studied sports before graduating in Madrid at the Conservatory R.C.P.D Mariemma and completed her training with Sead, Salzburg. She has collaborated as a dancer with different choreographers and was a member of the company Larreal and Input, among others. From 2017 - 2021 she was a member of the cie. Toula Limnaios.

  • Emma Laule

    PERFORMER

    Emma Laule is a contemporary circus performer specialising in aerial rope. Born in Berlin, she first studied at the ‘Etage' in Berlin and then at the 'Academy for Circus and Performance Art' in Tilburg, Holland, where she graduated in 2016 with a BA of Arts. In the same year she won the silver medal and the special award of Tigerpalast at the International Youth Circus Festival Wiesbaden.

    Since then she has performed in theatres, variety shows and festivals throughout Germany and internationally. Among others in René Pollesch's 'Kill Your Darlings' at the Berliner Volksbühne, Taylor Mac's '24 Decades History of Pop Music' at the Berliner Ensemble, in the television series ‘Babylon Berlin’, the GOP and several shows with Cirque Bouffon.

  • Julia Förster

    PERFORMER

    Julia Förster studied theater, media and dance in Hildesheim and Berlin. Her background as an artistic gymnast brought her to the fusion of acrobatics, dance and performance. Since nearly 20 years she has been working in different fields on and around international stages. She teaches dance and acrobatics in circus, dance schools and socio-cultural projects as well as training theory and athletics for federal sports associations.

  • Arturo Bautista Bernal

    PERFORMER

    Arturo is a nationally trained ballet dancer. After his training at Academia de Danza Mexicana, he trained partner trapeze and acrobatics at various circus schools in Latin America. Since 2016 he lives and works in Berlin.

  • César Balleyguire

    MUSICIAN

    Cesar has been playing music and trombone for most of his life. First he played classical music in Paris (where he comes from), then
    Jazz in New Orleans. Till now he has played a little bit of everything everywhere (Spain, Turkey...) and finally ended up in Berlin,
    where he's been living for the last six years, trying to combine acoustic instruments with synthesizers, drum machines and synthetic sounds. In 2021/22 he worked as a composer and musician with Kat Valastur on her piece "Diana, Even".
